Marquez "proved" himself @ WW?
He was never a WW to begin with. Only fought there because of PPV or belt. Dude could make 135 if he laid off the roids rn.
One big win In a division doesn't prove you. Jones wasn't a HW. Cotto isn't a MW. Pacquiao wasn't a LMW.
Khan is a legit WW because he's beaten four guys there so far. Are they world beaters? Not superbly, but he's proven himself at WW.Comment

He ko'ed pacquiao and he a competitive fight with Bradley despite the loss ......how the **** is that not proving himself? That is 10× more than Khan has ever done at ww.Comment

What guys did he beat? He arguably lost to al-freaking-gieri and got his ass knocked all over the ring by a past prime Diaz. Beat Alexander who is his only solid win. Marquez' win against pacquiao ****s all over Khan's entire ww resume.Marquez "proved" himself @ WW?

It may be me, but I hold absolutely zero merit for that KO in the sense that the weight at which it mattered didn't matter anymore.
Would LaMotta k0ing Robinson at 168 cement him at 168? It wouldn't, it would simply cement him as a great fighter that stopped Robinson regardless of the weight class simply due to the fact that when you're that deep into a rivalry. Four fights, five fights, the weight doesn't serve any relevance anymore.
And btw, the Bradley fight was not competitive. Clear win for Timothy.Comment

At the stage Floyd fought him, Canelo's best win was Trout and he had won his title off the light welter Matty Hatton. Noway would that be better than beating Khan, who has Maidana, Kotelnik, Judah, Malignaggi, Alexander and possibly Peterson on his win column. In order? That's difficult to do. I know he wouldn't be one of Mayweather's top 12 wins for sure.
Corrales
Castillo
Pacquiao
Genaro Hernandez
Jesus Chavez
Oscar De La Hoya
Canelo
Cotto
Marquez
Hatton
Mosley
Maidana
Next 3 is where I'd struggle and Khan being a better win than the last three? Very debatable.
Edit: Just to add, this is off the top of my head so I might have missed some.
Maidana was a substitute for Khan lol so that's a massive no.
In terms of the numbers you listed, Khan would likely be a top 15, so why are you arguing with the TS?Comment

It's more about what has Khan done lately, what has he done in his perspective division 147, how has he looked? Squeezing by Julio Diaz and Algieri doesn't cut it. It's an ugly look to get walked down by a fighter who not only does NOT fight that way but can't punch. At the stage Floyd fought him, Canelo's best win was Trout and he had won his title off the light welter Matty Hatton. Looking at all that I struggle to see how he gets on that list. Canelo is a far better fighter than Khan, don't even get me started on that.Comment

Yeah, you fall in the very small minority, there was a certain group that ran with that ******ity and we all know who they were fans of.It may be me, but I hold absolutely zero merit for that KO in the sense that the weight at which it mattered didn't matter anymore.

Easy. I have a few more in mind but this list is a little more bulletproof.
A win over this version of 147 Khan is slightly better than Berto and slightly worse than Guerrero. With Khan you have a guy that:
-Best 147 win is Devon Alexander who clearly is not the same fighter anymore
-Was dropped and barely slipped by Julio Diaz
-Struggled and arguably lost to Chris Algeiri
That's Berto level opposition that Khan has struggled with at 147.
If Khan beat Peterson and Floyd fought him next, it would be a notable win without question. But this version of 147 Khan as of 10/17/15 has clearly regressed as a fighter and is nothing more than a name.Comment
