and who do we have to blame for hyping up fighters and making them think they are cash cows and top fighters? could it be al haymon? fonfara thinks he's a star because he beat chavez jr and cleverly. the saddest part is pbc fanboys actually believe it as well. well yea of course fonfara should get millions he's fonfara! he only made 400k agaisnt chavez jr but he couldn't accept a fight vs kovalev for prob more vs kovalev? why make excuses for ducking? he's comfortable taking easy fights and being hyped as a star. as long as he pretends kovalev doens't exist he can live out his dream.

Aldo, Duva did that? Fonfara earns his money. Pay him fairly.

I noticed you are from San Jose?? Me too, Karl st. Story & king used to be my stomping grounds.

Take it easy. And if you can, share a link about Duva & pennies.

        Best Regards

don't believe some people on here. when they say pennies it could mean a million dollars. it's not like fonfara is the money man. he only made 400k againts chavez jr. even muhamaddi made 300k so fonfara prob would have made a good amount to fight kovalev. he just didn't want the fight because it would have derailed his career. right now hes headlining cards and being treated like a king. why blow that? also fonfara was coming off a loss when he turned down kovalev. he was in no position to ask for huge money. he wanted to rebuild with easy fights and he did that. it turned out to be the best decision for him to make the most money long term. he just didn't have confidence in beating kovalev and maximizing his profits if he would have beaten kovalev because he prob wouldn't have won that fight.

Thanks. I was hoping Fonfara would fight the guy who beat Huck, Glowaki(sic) That other Polish guy, and determine who deserves the shot at Kovalev.

But let him make a few more pay days before risking it all.

I really enjoyed what he did to Chavez Jr.

Fonfara is pretty good, mad props for what he did to Chavez Jr, but Kovalev would eat him alive. Anyone he gets hit that often will not beat Kovalev, unless they have the power to KO him. Fonfara doesn't.

also fonfara was coming off a loss when duva offered him the fight. he didn't want to risk takign another loss. he went for the rebuild option because he wasn't confident of beating kovalev and taking his throne.

glowaki is a cruiserweight so i don't see those guys fighting. fonfara should fight beterbiev. that would be a good fight. the winner could fight stevenson or kovalev but stevenson since they are all with the pbc. that's what should be happening but unfortunately the pbc want to turn beterbiev into a star and they are steering him toward a vacant belt instead of toward kovalev(turned down) or stevenson. they think they can turn him into the next ggg but ggg actually tried to fight the best. he didn't go for vacant belts. a lot of people turned down ggg so he was forced to go for a vacant belt where as beterbiev is doing the opposite. he has so many opportunities with the pbc stable and was offered a kovalev figth but he wants to win a vacant belt and call himself champ because he thinks people will fall for that crap. watch after beterbiev wins his little vacant belt he will start calling out kovalev when he knows kovalev is at hbo. then he will fight a lot of subpar fighters in order to build his fan base. the manufacturing of a "star" begins.

Thanks for the insight. I knew Glowaki is a cruiser weight, but it could be an polish/Chicago bragging rights thing.

But again. I appreciate you input.

                      Thanks!
