Brutal war. Fonfara may have acted tough in the ring, but guaranteed now he's hurting as much as Cleverly is. Both landed bombs on top of bombs. Looking ahead though, Fonfara/Stevenson would be a better win 2nd time around for Stevenson... and I'm not even a ******man fan. But as easy to hit as Fonfara is, Kovalev would flat out annihilate him. It would be a brutal mid-rounds massacre.

As for Cleverly, the guy could've sailed to an easy UD if he just stayed outside and jabbed for 12. He has the talent to do it that way, just not the brains to know what's best.

I don't think so. Will he ever be the man at '75, no, not with that monster in the division, but he can still be somewhat successful at the weight.

Great fight, if Cleverly didn't do the Calzaghe pittypat he might of won! Hard to score but damage wise, Fonfara clearly won a 7-5 fight!

Cleverly is far from done, but he needs to fight smarter. Drop the machismo act, He's capable of boxing. He wasn't missing at all with his jab, but he opted to stay in the pocket to exchange which played right into Fonfara's gameplan. Cleverly is a very good athlete and he needs to use some of those athletic gifts he has.

Cleverly could have easily won that fight. He could really benefit from a proper trainer. He's been coached by a ***in swimming instructor or something.

I don't know why he does that **** where he leans forward with his hands up.

He couldn't miss Fonfara with long jabs and rights from range. And when he got close, he got his combos off first and Fonfara can't counter punch.

But he played possum on the ropes and Cleverly got suckered in to it.

Great fight, would watch a rematch.

As I expected, it was a close fight. It could've gone either way tbh. I wonder what the punch stats were. Good fight.

I've been saying this for the longest. But since he lost to Stevenson people want to act like this guy can't fight. He's long, he throws straight punches, and he can take a punch. He gives any 175lber in the world a good fight.
