Haymon just got fox for pbc

Tally another network for power broker Al Haymon. The influential and mysterious adviser/manager has just added Fox to his ever-growing list of networks for his Premier Boxing Champions series, which now includes: CBS, NBC, NBC Sports Net, ESPN, Spike TV, Bounce TV, Fox Sports 1, and now the main Fox network.

Fox will host at least three PBC cards in 2016, all on Saturday nights from 8-10pm EST. The first show is scheduled to be held on Jan. 23, with the other two shows scheduled for March 12 and July 16. The network sent out notifications to its affiliates this week making the announcement and letting them know how much allotted commercial time would be available for sale during each of the shows.

Good. Give those FOX viewers an entertaining combat sport instead of MMA.

i kinda feel as if he should be narrowing his scope rather than broadening it. merge some of his cards together and drop the timeslots/channels that don't draw. quality over quantity

                  Not ruining it.

He's essentially spending hundreds of millions of dollars of investors money by putting out boxing infomercials on multiple channels with an end game yet to be determined. I still think it's a bizarre strategy but we'll see how things are in a year or two.

lmfao, but yea I think that is some peoples argument.

I think PBC is doing a better job, in general, but also at putting fights where they are supposed to. A lot of people, myself among them, were scratching there heads at where some fights were popping off at. Buts thats improved greatly in the last month or two. For example the Chicago card tonight is headlined by the Polish Fonfora with a 22 year old undefeated Polish prospect in a featured position on the card. This is some basic ****, but I don't think PBC was putting much thought into it at the start for some reason.

Nice to hear about more prime time boxing on national tv doe.
