He was amazing. I know he got a presidential and all and was a vocal opponent of the Vietnam war but **** I never knew he actually negotiated a hostage release!

Great video. I knew this had happened but never seen film of it before.

When the hostage was thanking Ali for freeing him, and Ali says, "Thank Allah .. God. It's not me ... God works through people." That sent a shiver down my spine.
