Comments Thread For: Pascal Calls Stevenson on Phone, Adonis Blows Him Off

In a move reminiscent of Floyd Mayweather's infamous phone call to Manny Pacquiao - Jean Pascal pulled off his own version of the scenario by calling his Canadian rival Adonis Stevenson to discuss the possibility of facing each other next.

The two boxers were once stablemates under promoter Yvon Michel of GYM. When Pascal left Michel last year, and Stevenson rose in stature with the WBC light heavyweight title, the two fighters began a verbal war or words in the press.

Hopkins said the exact same thing, that he tried calling Stevenson to work their fight out and Stevenson went missing in action.

So since he didn't have much time left with the belt situation he signed a fight with Kovalev, who said yes right away.

      I definitely believe Pascal.

All these other guys at 175 have fought each other. Stevenson is the oddball on the sidelines.

Stevenson is an ass. He should fight Pascal! Pascal showed me heart and guts in his loss to kovalev.

What is it with the bigger ko artists of today?.......these type of of fighters of yesteryear were warriors....they believed in their punching power and took risks in order get off that killer shot. Now you have fighters like Stevenson and Wilder who think they're bad as **** facing people who float around the top 50 ranking, have no punching power, have been ko'd loads of times or are physically much smaller. We as fans need to oust these ******* and force them into taking real fights and challenges.

Pascal trying to get all these title opportunities. Even after losing his last 2 fights. Gonzalez was robbed.

                  lol why not ?

Stevenson may as well fight Pascal if Kovalev isn't happening.

And whats up with Pascal being offered Kovalev in January ?

I thought that Duva said Kovalev will be inactive ?

                  Whats wrong with Stevenson/Kovalev ?
