Like I said, he wanted a ton of money to fight bums but HBO wanted a commitment for him to fight Kovalev. Ward went into negotiations thinking he was the boss, HBO told him he was just the b-side.

I have inside sources that say Ward is negotiating to fight the winner of Klitschko and Fury.
Remember a few years ago Ward said he'll be Heavyweight Champion of the World by the age of 32.
Ward is showing he's a man of his word by trying to fight the winner before he turns 32 in Four months.

On a serious note. Miura vs Vargas would be a much better co main event for that event. That would make the crowd alive before the actual Main Event. They don't really need Ward on that card.

years ago ward said he would be heavyweight champ by 2016 well the klitschko-fury fight was postponed because ward vs klitschko is set for the undercard of cotto-canelo!
