However Ward could have still stayed at 168 to fight likes of DeGale, Jack and so on would likely be better options than what he has lined up for 175.
Aren't there some "promotional issues" which prevent Ward from fighting the likes of DeGale and Jack?

he needs to drain ward to get an "even playing field."

i don't think chad dawson was anywhere near 100% against ward. i also don't think it would have mattered, but my opinion on that isn't very relevant.

unlike basically every bscener, i don't sugarcoat the careers of fighters i care for. i like golvokin as much or more than andre ward.

i don't think for a second that gennady golovkin is trying to avoid fights. he's a knockout puncher who has been at the top of his game fora long time. he's supremely confident.

it is obviousl, however, that golvokin's "people" don't want the fight. just look at the way they talk about it. you don't crap on a fight if you're willing to take it.

golokvin's people are smart to stay at 160 lbs. that's where the money and the winnable fights are.

i expect ward to move up to 175 in the next year, and fight kovalev on PPV in late 2016. if you talk to both sides, it's pretty clear that that is the plan. ward's people are probably waiting out golovkin for a while longer, but that fight doesn't make sense for golovkin. his people want cotto or alvarez, and i don't blame them.

it's nice to see you can have a mature conversation without posting pictures of men ejaculating on each other.

you understand that going down in weight is unhealthy, and that coming up in weight just means you're at a disadvantage because you're fighting a bigger guy, correct?

golovkin could walk into the ring for a fight at 168 at his regular fight night weight, which is around 170 lbs.

Well what's wrong with a catchweight, GGG could do what Ward is doing and say f*** you come down to 160 or it doesn't happen at all instead they offered to meet inbetween.

if you want to invite reasonable discussion you don't behave the way you and most bsceners do. you just want to shout at those whose views are different from your own, and ********** in a group with those who agree with you. it is what it is.

                  Of course he could...
And add that both guys' weigh was about 173 1/2 with one month before their last fights... And add that, when fighting at 160, Golovkin usually rehydrates at +170, while when fighting at 168 Ward rehydrates well above 180 (E-Rod fight).
... Normally, this doesn't have to represent a big issue for Golovkin, but in case Ward would use a game plan based mainly on clinching and 'grappling', such a weight difference would become outstanding... Right?

there was actually a clause in the rodriguez fight that they couldn't rehydrate over 180 lbs by the morning, IIRC. rodriguez missed the SMW limit by two lbs.

you really don't know what you're talking about. you also have a clear bias . america stole your bike at some point in your life.

Well: did they fight in the morning?

(America didn't steal me any bike at all: I hold a Peugeot bike and it happens that I've just did my daily 15km ride some half of an hour ago... It also happens that I had a job in the U.S and stayed somewhere on W62nd St in NY and in Arlington as well...)

[NB: I could not use a bike in NY or in Washington as well.]
