  • Comments Thread For: Arum: I Told Pacquiao To Forget Mayweather, Move On

Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum met with eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao on Monday night and two of them discussed some possibilities for what is likely going to be the final fight of his career.

Pacquiao, who is currently a congressman in the Philippines, plans to pursue a senate seat in 2016 and his chances of winning are very good.

Both Pacquiao and Arum agree that a senate position would effectively close the door on being an active fighter. [Click Here To Read More]

      It's Pac's last fight.

What's important is his last fight don't turn out to be a stinker. As Floyd was with Berto.

I would like to see him go out in an action packed fight against Khan. Host the fight in Dubai or in Khan's home town.

There you have it. It's going to be Pacquiao vs Bradley 3. Tim already stated that he would like to have a trilogy with Manny and now Arum just confirm it with this statement. We all know how Arum is. He'll throw 3-4 other names in the mix but looking at those names who do u think will be the easiest to make and who do u think will make more sense for Arum and Top Rank? Of course its Tim!

The thing is it might not be action pack though. Khan does bring the fight to his opponent but Khan has also been in survival mode once he gets hurt. If this fight happens and Manny clips him good, I see Khan fighting a smart fight. Sticking and moving. And we all know how Manny looks against fighters that stick and move. This is probably why we havent heard much about getting this fight made.

Khan can't outthink Pacquiao. He would need to hurt him.

What are you implying? How does any fighter look against opponent's who don't want to fight? Manny is a complete fighter. He WILL hit you regardless if you stand in front of him, or if you try and move. And last time I checked, Khan is no SRL and is not a complete fighter. He will never be an A Level fighter. Manny would beat him up.
