They've been extremely consistent in what they want - MW division champs and if that's not possible then popular fighters. Ward was included in that comment because he fought at 168. Now 3 years later when Ward decides that he needs money and can't make any fighting Paul Smiths, all the Ward fanboys think that the 154-168 comment was made yesterday and was only about Ward.

By the way - you're also wrong regarding the callout being a bluff. In two separate articles GGG said that Ward's team turned him down on HBO 3 times. Ward's little "I have the email right here" stunt came after Lemieux was already announced - and he never denied the timing of that NOR offered to show the details in that email.

GGG is too busy fighting middleweight champions for more money than he could ever get for fighting the fan unfriendly Ward.
