I'd take Cotto out and replace him with Beterbiev or... Adonis Stevenson
Both guys clearly bigger punchers than Cotto.

Lemieux and Stevenson belong to that list ahead of Cotto, Matthysse and Thurman... And what about Beterbiev ? 9 fights might not make the cut, but everybody knows he's way up there ...

Lemuix over quillin? Stevenson is top 5. Canelo ko angulo and kirkland. Not really impressive since they had been stopped before

I'd probably remove wilder and replace him with povetkin

Not sure I agree on Stevensson. He needs to up his competition imo. He couldn't KO Fonfara, who is a strong lightheavyweight but someone you'd expect Kovalev to KO I'd say, and also didn't stop Bika.

Similarly, Wilder didn't stop Stiverne of course.
No one has ever stopped Bika and Fonfara is proving to be one of the best LHWs and hasn't been stopped himself. Aside from that, when that left hand lands flush, most guys go night night.

Not a bad list, but for me several of the guys on the list are basicly guys that can ko with a paticular punch. The scarey guys imo are the ones that can drop you with either hand with a variety of punches. To me explosive means that the punch can come from anywhere at anytime and honestly there are'nt that many guys running around that can do that. There are obviously tons of guys that can crack.

The only reason Canelo is not on the list is because he stepped up to the utmost elite comp in Boxing as far as undefeated top prospect Trout, ATG Floyd, and career boogie man Lara. Had he fought Marco Antonio Rubios, and NDams and the Curtis Stevens, Daniel Geales and Wuillins of boxing, even the Andy Lee's....he'd had most likely knocked all those mother****ers out.

For that reason, this article sucks. **** list. Bunch of hype jobs on there that fight C tier fighters and knock them out because that's what they're supposed to do.

Kovalev's clearly the more dangerous and explosive puncher between him and Golovkin.
