  • Comments Thread For: Golovkin Inspired By Hopkins To Unify All Titles at 160

It didn’t take very long for Gennady Golovkin to make an impression on the boxing public. Apparently he has left him imprint on the rest of the middleweight division, as getting his peers into the ring has proven to be his biggest challenge to date.

Five years after capturing his first title, the unbeaten rising superstar from Kazakhstan finally enters his first true unification bout. David Lemieux was brave enough to answer the call, as the pair of middleweight titlists put a bunch of belts on the line October 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, which airs live on HBO Pay-Per-View ($49.95 SRP).

He will. It will take a little bit longer cause the last belt is held by Cotto. And we all know Cotto won't fight him. Unless Alvarez beats Cotto and steps to the plate.

it will be the same with ggg in 20 years with the exception of cotto/canelo winner

I'm sure Golovkin has heard of Trinidad and Oscar de la hoya before. No surprise you don't know that.

It wouldn't surprise me if he knows Joppy too.

Ward doesn't have anything to offer him to make him wanna miss out on two PPV for a BET fighter.

Besides, Ward turned down GGG first.

Ward is in no position to make demands

Well it just came up, and there are 12 other threads to talk crap on? But yes, two very different issues.

Especially since most of those are not Ward fans, their Cotto or Canelo fans. Hiding behind a courtroom junkie.
