A very very interesting NEW article about Golovkin

I've read many posts by you about GGG and none have been objective. This one is no different. What you're missing is that most of the people accused of hating Golovkin actually like the guy. They just can't say anything objective about him here because the golovkids are so rabid in believing that anything not praising Genady is heresy. The fact that many of them are less educated in the science doesn't help their cause. So, making sensible statements like he's fighting marginal competiton and avoiding Ward become hateful words of war in the eyes of the minions. It's really obnoxious interacting with people like that, hence the big rift and the perception that he's hated.
No boxer in his right mind would move up to take on an awkward spoiling opponent like Ward, in a higher division, when there are bigger, much more lucrative fights waiting there for him in his own.
Boxers move up for two reasons, weight issues and money. Often, it will be a combination of both. GGG has no problem making 160 and. as I just pointed out, he can earn more money, and guarantee his place in the boxing HOF and history books, by staying where he is and unifying the MW division.
You maybe don't hate GGG, but you are most definitely not looking at his situation objectively.Comment

I'd bet lunch that if there were some slick boogeyman at cruiser, Kov would be called a duck by the Floyd/Ward fanbase. Stevenson wouldnt, but Kov would. Guaranteed. I can already hear it. "Why is Kov looking at the smaller guy in Ward when he has so-and-so at cruiser? REAL champs move UP" etc etc etc blah blah blah lolLast edited by OnePunch; 10-13-2015, 11:12 AM.Comment

but but but but Abel said 154-168 doe, so dat means he gotta fight Ward tomorrow at 168 in oakland with Pat Russell as ref, or its a duck!!
Yet all the Ward statements about going to 175 or even heavyweight are merely "aspirational statements" according to Scipio and the rest of the trolls lolComment

People were more critical of Canelo once upon a time and eventually all that changed. It's all down to people feeling like the work hasn't warranted the hype, I don't know why people struggle to see that.Comment
