Wladimir should be no. 2 P4P?

I think Wlad has the best case for P4P no.2 behind Ward.

    What do you think?

To me, the proof is in what he's done.

Simply enough, if he beats Fury in December, he will have beaten 6 out of the top 10 contenders to his title based on the Ring's rankings.

That's amazing and no other fighter in boxing right now is close to having done that.

    It's pure and simple dominance.

    Vote, discuss, thanks.

He's no. 1 imo and Ward isn't even top 10 based on who he has fought in a span of 2 years.

why is ward automatically number 1

he is moving to lhw and kovalev would be favoured to beat ward , no?

you cant be p4p number 1 if you are not the best in your own division lol

I can't take away what Ward managed to do when he was more active. He pretty much cleaned out 168 and knocked out the champ at 175.

          At 168 though lol

And if time doesn't matter, as is the case with many boxing fans, then Ali, Duran and Leonard should still be p4p ranked

lol that was tongue in cheek but you know what I mean, Ward's last truly terrific win was some 3 or 4 years ago versus Froch. If one is to accept Dawson as a legitimate win, even that was many years ago. Since then he has faced a journeyman (took him 9 rounds) and a fringe contender. In my book, the only way Ward is p4p no.1 is if, by some miracle, the boxing world just stood still and no one, including Wlad, GGG, Kovalev, Pacquiao, Bradley and so on, did anything of note in that time.

The truth is, boxing has moved on and Ward is still fighting like a prospect.

Who's to say he's not the best fighter at 175 when he moves up without fighting the no. 2 guy in that division?
