Thoughts on the GGG vs Lemieux Face off?

That Face Off was awesome, the way GGG talked about the beating he gave to Stevens was scary. "We have time, we have twelve rounds to show him respect, beat him, beat him, beat him until he respects me and respects the sport of boxing."

I repeatedly said here: Golovkin needed more rounds in the ring... Therefore he carried Stevens, Adama, Murray, Monroe... GGG floored them all in the early rounds, then "toyed" with them...

I got some thoughts. Always thought Golovkin was this nice, likable guy but he said he kept Stevens around longer to punish him. Yeah and that's how Vic Darchinyan sent that poor Mexican guy with a family into a coma. I disapprove of that ****. He's right about this isn't a game and that kinda makes me want Lemieux to KHTFO.
I always cheered against Darchinyan after that admission so I would to be consistent after all. !!

It was ok. Did not like that it was an 85% GGG interview. They did not really spend any time on Dave and you could see that they were annoyed by it.

Their accents ruined it. Golovkin sounds so goofy he should just speak his native language. Probably would make him seem scarier

My thoughts though, it's lame, it doesn't have the same feel of some of the other face offs because you already know Lemieux is gonna get ran over.

It was pretty uneventful. The GGG talking about Stevens fight was about the most interesting part. I'd rather have seen just a 24/7 of these too than a face off. Not every fight is face off worthy. Also playing that music through the whole show does f#cking nothing but annoy me.

GGG's accent definitely doesn't make him seem scary or w/e, but I think thats part of his charm, just like Manny. GGG talks like a 7 year old with a speech impediment who suddenly became adult-size. But he'll f#ck your **** up in the ring. Something fun in that safe almost adorable (no ****) voice & than being a bad mfer in the ring. Tyson kinda had that thing going for him too.

For some reason though I find Abel Sanchez more and more irritating by the day.

Both trainers ****** for this face off. Don't even understand why they were there unless Max was hoping for some trainer drama since he probably didn't expect drama from the fighters.

If they wanna ****e it up they should try bringing in wives, girlfriends or kids lol. I could see that **** go nuts, but then again it might get to Jerry Springer levels & I'd rather not see that either.

i think golovkin's broken english has its best effect in short interviews. seeing him try to express more complex thoughts is frustrating (reminds me of my own attempts to speak french)
