It could happen. Rubio knocked out Lemeiux, but he threw the fight against Golovkin. Who knows how competitive that fight would have been if it wasn't fixed.
Other notable fixed fights; DeLaHoya Hopkins, Thurman Collazo, Thurman Diaz, and Thurman Chavez.. One Thyme has the uncanny ability to make a fighter quit that isn't hurt and is doing well.

You know what you make some interesting points. I was a fan of Thurman but I am starting to believe that he is overhyped. Also looks like he is scared of Porter (shout out Gotti Boxing)

            Lemieux to upset GGG

GGG won`t be dictating any pace. Yes, he might be more experienced and durable than Lemieux... but Lemieux will absolutely not allow GGG to dictate the tempo of the fight... He will enter the ring as a bull and will either be killed by the matador kazakh or trample on him... Lemieux will fight on his term and certainly not on GGG`s terms. Wait and see.

Or maybe he decided to watch a few GGG fights, I don't know.

You don't win the way they do underestimating opponents. Sanchez trained world champs. He knows what he is doing. They know what Lemieux can and cannot do.

Fixed! Wow, that's a new strategy. Never heard anyone use that before!

GGG has a lot of experience with fighters coming at him. In fact, I think they are hoping Lemieux keeps coming forward. Make it all the more easy to land brain rattling head shots, and feel it in my toes body shots.

Lemieux will charge, GGG will likely jab and let him throw 20, land three before he unleashes a few shot that changes Lemieux entire view of what a solid punch feels like.

Like so many before, once they realize what GGG is doing to them, they are smelling salt.

Lemieux might knock him down but certainly not out. Lemieux defense is poorer than Golovkins. So even if it's Hagler vs Hearns 2. Ggg is Hagler and Lemieux is Hearns.
