WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs) is less than a week away from his unification showdown with IBF champion David Lemieux (34-2, 31KOs).
The fight takes place on October 17th from New York's Madison Square Garden. Both fighters will be making their debut on HBO's pay-per-view platform.
In an interview conducted several months ago, Golovkin was quoted as saying that he felt "scared" as he approached this fight - because for the first time he was facing another fearsome puncher in Lemieux.

I liked the face off....both showed respect but you could tell there is an edge to it....big exciting fight next week and brace yourself for big drama show........as for what's his name Ward....nice try Mr nobody....better luck next time
Lemieux gets KOd in less than 5. I se his interview in our local tv here in Montreal and he talks like he will run over GGG. He said he will be more aggressive than the Rosado fight lol. I wish good luck to Lemieux but he will get KOd and it wont be long.
Lemieux has real power, but imo his only real chance is to jump on Golovkin early and catch him cold.
Could be wrong, but it will likely depend on his durability.

"Big exciting fight..." Big? I'll give you exciting. This isn't a big fight. Like every other mismatch, as the fight gets closer and the machine starts going, some people are fooled and buy into the hype. This is just a showcase fight for GGG and thats okay, because its going to be exciting for 4 rounds. Andre Ward is most likely going to end up as the co main event of the biggest PPV of the year, aside from May-Pac. Ward can't carry a PPV, everyone knows that. What I find funny is how people are now using the whole "business" argument thats been bashed for years by certain fighters, because it favors the fighter they like.
