ward has been fighting with a messed up shoulder all the way up until 2013 i believe thats the year so he REALLY beat fighters with one arm.
golovkin is 33 YEARS OLD and is JUST now stepping up to a elite B class fighter.
Ward did his "stepping" up like 4-5 years ago thats why he's ranked over golovkin on every BOXER and TRAINERS P4P not the "pundits" who cater to favoritism and undeserved hype.

froch tried to fght ward in a rematch but ward wanted nothing to do with that fight because he couldn't fight it on his terms(something he has needed his entire career) when you need refs and location to get you wins you aren't that great. its good that people are finally realizing this guy is a fraud. the super six was just one giant lets setup a tourny so ward can win it farce. should have been dq'd vs kessler, had every fight in his home country unlike everyone else, mysterious pull outs by rivals and substitute easy fights, etc...

why isnt he the favorite against Ward? i follow boxing "just a lil bit"
and from the eye test alone excluding the fact that Ward is a BEAST with his infighting and leaning to the right of his opponent on the inside takes the power punch away from the opponent on the inside steps around the shop to close the distance withh his power jab and doesnt smother his punches.

clinching is illegal my man. look at the rules. jumping into your opponent with your head is also illegal. those rules are there for a reason. you can't just break them and then be labeled a great fighter. that is nonsensical. the question you should ask yourself is how good would ward be without the cheating? to me he wouldn't be very good since he has no power, suspect stamina, and his defense is based on clinching and jumping into opponents. without that he would probably be lost. i'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and would like to see him in a fight without all the chaeting but he simply won't do it. he needs everything setup in his favor or he won't fight. sorry i can't respect that and not sure why you do.

It's Wards best win, and he didn't concede the weight or home turf to Froch. If smaller unproven Ggg would be the favorite, just tells you Wards resume is not all he's cracked up to be. Which is probably why he needs 3 tuneups to go up 3lbs, and feels Yunieski is more risk than he can handle lol
