Comments Thread For: Tomasz Adamek To Continue, Wants Top Names

Former light heavyweight and cruiserweight champion Tomasz Adamek (50-4, 30 KOs) will continue his boxing career. After last month's stoppage victory of countryman Przemyslaw Saleta (44-8, 22 KOs) in Poland, "Goral" is looking for greater challenges.

It was Adamek's first fight back since last year's ten round decision loss to Artur Szpilka. Adamek wants to return at the start of next year and he wants the big names at the weight.

There is nothing in the world to equalize boxers’ ******ity. By the way, their mind was shaped by the devil, which enjoys seeing them falling apart and rotting... Poor dopes!

Nothing good comes from this, the Szpilka and Glazkov fights he would have won prior to facing Vitali, that fight signalled the end of the Adamek his fans came to love, after that point every fight has been a blemish on his career.

Beating Saleta did nothing for him except allowed him to get some glorified sparring in. Saleta never hit him. I don't remember seeing a HW miss so many punches. Adamek hasn't looked great the last few years. If he wants to fight on I say he has that right. He is 38 & there are way older fighters still out there getting big fights. Fight Shannon Briggs or Tarver...
