Can you blame them. You go into the nfl nba soccer etc sure you had your college years but you didn't hold your own against the best in the world. Yet you just got a contact that makes you an instant millionaire. Fighters don't get that lol most never make what even 2nd 3rd string players on teams get a year in their whole career.

Then go play one of those sports. Wait they can't? Then they can't compare themselves to the people in those sports.

Also those guys made it to the pros (the pinnacle of the sport), where they are always competing against the best in the world. Anyone can make it to the pros of boxing as long as you pass a physical and it's the only sport in the world where you choose your opponent. If you make it to the top level in boxing (like those guys in the other sports you mentioned) and expect to be compensated as a top guy, you should face top level competition.

Many fighters now a days are just plain delusional, $5-$10 mil? Very few tap into those kinds of dollars and these guys should wake up and look at reality. Quillen will probably never see that kind of money and will price himself out of the sport if he continues to demand these crazy amounts.

Mikey Garcia, he is another one that wants $10 million a fight, look at how his career is slowly slipping away because of his astronomical demands. Not happening...

One of my main gripes with how Hymen handled Mayweather. Great for Floyd getting all that cash....BUT, now everyone Hymen handles expects to make that kind of money which is bad enough in itself but they want to get paid like that for fighting tomato cans.
