See when another clueless NZ poser checks the history books 50 years from now, he'll see Cotto as The MW Champ. Hopefully by then the moron will have mastered internet links lol

Remember Ward's best win Froch? GGG tried to fight him without 168 tuneups, in the UK. That's a pretty big step up, Ward needs 3 tuneups to go up 3lbs. It's like him saying, I want Kovalev in Russia NEXT.
Well GGG didn't fight Froch Ward actually did. Huge diffrence there..

And im not knocking Ward for wanting tunes ups I mean Kovalev's whole career for the most part. Has been tunes ups. He didnt step until Hopkins then Pascal. Its ok for GGG to constantly fight tune up after tune up but when Ward wants to all hell breaks lose and he actually has a better resume than GGG and Kovalev.

Show me one fighter in boxing that went up in weight to fight a division+ bigger p4p #2, who's the distant B side yet wants purse parity. How about when you got your first unification lined up on HBO PPV, and a megafight for 3 belts + lineal in the pipeline? Any examples there?
Ricky Hatton went up from 140 to 147, fought Floyd Mayweather in his first fight at the weight, and basically walked away with near pay parity.

          would you like another example?

Whose fault was that? The unproven guy that offered the weight and home town concession, or the much more proven guy that said "We'll swerve him if we can, punches like a mule, dangerous fight"?

That's dumb, Kov barely got a slot on NBC Sports and was making 1/100 for what Ward demands for his tuneups. What's sad is that Ward's resume is barely better than Kovs despite a huge head start and p4p billing. GGG is also always after the best at his weight. Meanwhile Ward turns down Bute, Stevenson, Froch in the UK, goes after Truax, Saartison, Dunn, Periban, Paul Smith.

Wasnt his first fight, he'd just barely gotten by Collazo dummy. And Floyd was no B side, try again. Or don't, its always a huge miss

They both have 2 quality wins, none of whom were p4p quality at the time. Then it drops off sharply for both.

                      lol

Tszyu(140), Maussa(140), Collazo(147), Urango(140), and Castillo(140) were the immediate five fights that Hatton had before fighting Floyd. And, once all of the revenues from the fight were paid out, Mayweather and Hatton likely walked away with the same money.

you can't honestly be this foolish.
