Yet you bash on GGG saying he is ducking Ward who is now 2 weight classes above him, when GGG is going to headline his first PPV and fight for the undisputed lineal MW crown! But your ******ed logic wants GGG to go up 2 weight classes to fight for way less money and no title?
    REALLY?
    1. I'm not sure wtf Mayweather has to do with this. All that us is deflection. Everyone thinKS mayweather ducked every fighter in history around here and somehow he still managed to have a great resume and career. So sure. He ducked everyone...moving on. Ward is ducking Kovalev how? Kovalev isn't fighting until next year. Ward has plenty of time to have tune ups and Kovalev himself is likely gonna have at least one too. He's been out for about half a year already. There is little issue here expect for the one u are making uo with some " insider" knowledge u must have. And no1 is saying Golovkin jas to jump 2 wight classes. He can jump one. Like he had every intention of doing for both Chavez Jr and Froch. As far as him fighting for the lineal title...who do u think he's fighting for that and when? It won't be his next fight, I guarantee u that. I'm not trying to twist ****. All I hear is excuses. It's not me coming up with excuses. Ward should fight Kovalev. And I believe he will, if he doesn't I'm not gonna be in the thread sounding like a ***** about why one of the best fights in boxing shouldn't happwn. Golovkin is a monster, everyone is scared of him until Ward is mentioned then it's " why should he have to fight Ward" it's beyond patheic. But u keep cosigning it tho. Yes compare mayweather to Golovkin because we all know thats a great comparison. Whatever makes u happy, but it's u guys who come off like a buncha save a hoe *****es.

K2 were the ones who put the 50/50 split into the ether; if they wanted to renege on their own proposed split, that could've been handled in an actual negotiation (going from talking about 50/50, to them demanding 70/30 would've made them look ridiculous, but that's another conversation).

Frankly, that's the beauty of a negotiation; RocNation didn't know about K2's plans for Golovkin and K2 and K2 didn't know about RocNation's plans for Andrew Ward. Value the two fighters based on what you're willing to disclose and propose a split.

David Lemieux isn't going to introduce Golovkin to an entirely new fanbase who'd never heard of him; to act as if K2 couldn't come up with a value to negotiate a next fight from (Golovkin has a fight, Ward has a fight, and then they fight next on PPV) would literally assume that K2 are the dumbest promoters going.

Just as an example, not even ten days into October, Eddie Hearn (Matchroom Sport) has his boxing schedule for the rest of the year already penciled in [fights will get added/subtracted as they get finalized, and injuries will cause things to change as well].

Loeffler can only plan things out one fight at a time? lol

Did you read the article? Why would GGG sign a contract with Ward which forces him to turn down the WBC mandatory Cotto/Canelo winner?

Do you earnestly believe that Andre Ward couldn't have gotten off 5 pounds in three weeks if he had to? lol

And, with Ward already being in camp less than four months from his last fight, the weight is even less of an issue.

HBO ppv is a game changer pal. If it does 400k somehow, 70/30 is about right. And even a decent number like 250k will create that much more pressure on Canelo. If that goes down, then Ward would be lucky to get 80/20

So you would sign the deal for your fighter to split 50/50 next year when his value will be even higher than it is now? Do you not see what RocNation n Ward are trying to do here?
You know K2 isn't in the business of doing favors for Andre Ward, right?
They are in the business of getting the most money for their client(in this case GGG)
The whole world owes Andre Ward because of what he did 4 years ago in a tournament lol

Also, Ward is fighting Kovalev now? lol
Ward isn't even confirmed to be fighting his next tune up on the Cotto Canelo undercard.

Chad Dawson was on TV, talking about how he was ready to come down to 168 to see Andre Ward, and Ward held him to what he said when the negotiations happened. If Dawson had kept his mouth shut, HBO would've had the 175 kingpin and the 168 kingpin, and angled for a kingpin vs kingpin fight, between the two, likely at a catchweight.

Team Golovkin ran their mouth about "fighting anyone 154-168", were ready to fight Chavez Jr @168, and were ready to fight Froch @168 (would've probably fought Arthur Abraham @168 if it were offered, tbh).

Ward is simply holding Golovkin to what he's said.
