I have honestly never seen a fanbase so afraid of a potential fight. The lil g's on here have me in awe. Amazing

I thought that 50/50 offer by K2 was nonsense to begin with, but they did add a caveat that it had to be at 164 for 50/50 otherwise no fight. No one who considers themselves the A-side automatically offers 50/50. They quickly changed their tune a couple weeks later and are asking for more. Again, I don't begrudge K2 in asking for more than 50/50 or even to be the A-side in the promotion when they're taking all the risk. If the GGG-Lemieux PPV does well (Which would have to be 350K + to be considered a big success), then why should they move up to a higher weight class to fight Ward for an even split when their guy is generating better numbers?

At the same time, If they were interested in the fight they would have at least sat down with Roc Nation and engaged in some dialogue about a potential fight. But declining an offer in 36 minutes just looks bad.

I'm confused. It's looking like you people are terrified of Kovalev. These clowns have a way of turning things around. It's not even funny.

I've always asked that too, I've never seen an A-side in boxing offer 50/50 and now say 50/50 isn't good enough. k2 has the right to bigger split, i don't disregard that but lets no pretend like this isn't a big fight. I've heard from so-called fans why this fight shouldn't happen instead of "hopefully both can keep winning and we revisit this" but one thing I'm kinda pissed about is GGG hardcore fans spent the last 2-3 years building up their fighter to be someone who doesnt do CW, dictate terms or play high risk low reward bc thats what been done to him, but once another fighter who's seen as his hardest opponent steps up, they back all those things they've crucified other boxers for enforcing on their opponents.
