That is what I am talking about. That Irish Mexican kid can punch.
Throw him in Belfast and he is whipping Brit invaders weekly!

Canelo's been training since July. He probably thinks that since he has been in camp for so long, he thinks he is more prepared than Cotto.

Cotto has the experience edge, speed, power and can box or **** when needed.
Canelo has yet to prove his best yet.
Canelo is flat footed and ponders. He is accurate but against Cotto I doubt as much.

Alright people. Look at the fight Floyd vs Cotto % then look at the % in the fight of Floyd vs canelo.
Floyd-Cotto 26% may weather 21% cotto. Cotto even busted up Floyd some.
          Then u have Floyd-canelo 46% to 22%
Now who fought the lb for lb best boxer in the world and made a fight with Floyd style. Cotto.
I give only youth and hunger to Canelo. That's about it.
And 99% of Cotto's fights, he has been hungry. The only shi+ fight I have ever seen Cotto in was Trout.

How am I trolling by giving my opinion that Cotto has looked bad against terrible opposition?

The Cotto/Canelo vs. Mayweather fights were YEARS ago so no need to compare those fights. Cotto has declined since then meanwhile Canelo has improved in all facets of his game.

I envision scenarios where both Cotto and Canelo can win. This is a good fight that could go either way. I suspect that Cotto will handle Canelo's power better than people think and control the fight to a UD.

We can no compare fights with common opponents.

Someone here said look at Cotto vs Mayweather and then look at Canelo vs Mayweather and who did worst? How cans omeone base themselves on this?

If this will be the case look at Canelo vs Trout and then look at Cotto vs Trout?

It makes no sense! Delvin Rodriguez, Martinez and this last opponent DeGale were horrible and soft ponents for Cotto, the only edge I give Canelo was, and I hope he learned something from fighting Lara. Out of all 6 opponents they fought Lara has to be the best, and Canelo won a very close decision.

Canelo is a terrible fighter, no speed, sloppy, no footwork, and gas out in later rounds.
