Comments Thread For: DeGale: I Want Ward/Abraham, Nobody at 168 Beats Me

JAMES DEGALE has vowed to end Lucian Bute’s career on November 28.

The British super-middleweight star defends his IBF title for the first time in Bute’s hometown of Quebec City.

DeGale, 29, turned down an easier home defence to take on the Canadian-based Romanian puncher, who lost the IBF strap to Carl Froch in 2012.

to his credit he has been calling wards name as a possible opponent, but at that point he had done nothing in his career and ward was on break with injury and career lulls....it would be a good fight.i would favor ward..9-3...if he turns it on he might hurt and stop degale, bc degale gasses and doesnt trust his own stamina

I just want Degale to keep his momentum going, unlike the pu55y welters.

Dirrell > Bute > Jack would be a real nice entry onto the world stage.

Outside of maybe Jack, I don't think anyone does.

He thinks he can beat Ward with wailing into single shots?
Who is he kidding on, as much as I dislike Ward more I'd expect nothing more than a win for Ward who would do the same thing he did to Froch to DeGale i.e. make it a boring clinch war and steal a ****ty PTS victory.

I'd love to see Chunky fight at the Emirates, I'd be there for sure.

I think he beats everyone at 168 except Ward atm

Abraham and Jack are easy fights for Degale.

Jack is the only realistic one.

he has been calling out Ward and the rest of the top names in the division, looong before he signed with Haymon. On a side note, if you was trying to imply that he doesnt want any part of Ward cause he scared etc.. just remember these guys fight for a living. They have a different mentality than you my friend.
Ward would destroy him but he believes in himself. all that matters
