Then u have the Roach factor which paired with Cotto is a thing of beauty...the biggest factor for me is Canelo being an underrated counter puncher. Canelo all day.

I just can't see Cotto outboxing Canelo for 12 rounds; Perhaps if he was ten years younger yeah but not now. He doesn't have enough left in the tank.

Also, while experience can be a good thing it's not in this case. Cotto has been in so many slug fests, to the point of his body absorbing just a limited amount of punishment before shutting down.

Therefore, if Miguel can't hit or hurt Alvarez he is going to be in some real serious trouble.

The problem with cotto is his chin, his face bruises up fast, his experience wont matter, Freddie roach is a great trainer but I don't thinkl that will be enough to beat canelo, look at how lara beat trout so easy even drop his ass like hed been shot, and then look how canelo beat lara with ease had him running all night once he tasted canelos power lol.

Haha you're right. Everybody on these things hates Floyd, yet they're WAY more defensive than him on these threads lol.

Pac is right on. Top bad tito Trinidad doesn't back his compatriot. I guess they didn't teach tito the old saying....if you don't have nothing good to say, don't say anything.

Lara beat Trout easily because Trout decided to chase Lara rather then fighting his own styles, which is also to box and move. Most people including ringside observers scored Canelo vs Trout a draw, some had Trout winning, even if you scored for Canelo he didn't look good throughout that fight. Trout stood as far from Cotto as he could, he droped one or two straights the quckly moved out of range. I really dont know what fights you were watching.

Pacman just saying that because he and Cotto are trained by Freddie Roach.

                    And he fought him.

                    Pac could be right.

Then again, Canelo is a beast, and is ripe for a breakout performance.

                    my brain hurts

this going to be a great fight. if alvarez gets frustrated and starts swinging for the fences and gases out.he's getting picked apart. cotto will make him pay for every wild punch that misses.
