Whatever. HBO shows so much crap it's beyond belief. GGG is PPV. Cotto vs. Canelo PPV. Actual HBO fights are crap! Keep your $80 per fight, I'll take free PBC

They just got conned by Haymon. So now HBO is back on top. Historically HBO was the better of the two though. Overall. Lest not forget the showtime had Tyson and Trinidad for many years.
Showtime was smashing HBO for 2 years??? I don't recall that. They definitely have beaten HBO on PPV since acquiring Mayweather, but boxing is more than 1 guy & PPV. Maybe you can argue Showtime made a respectable run at HBO during the time they had Mayweather + some good GBP **** & they made HBO lose some rounds, but HBO hasn't lost their position to anyone since they got to the top.

HBO and Showtime both put on great cards, and have done so for decades. I have them both, so I don't see the need to argue over which is better. If I had only one of the two networks because I thought it was better, I would have missed a ton of great cards on the other being a fanboy.

HBO is the best platform to be on in the world of boxing and has been for the past 30 years.

HBO>>>>>everything else in boxing. Showtime was close a few years back but they have fallen way off.

You must be confused my man, PBC is what's "crap" more often than not which is why the numbers are continuously dropping with each airing. the GGG-Lemieux PPV is only $49.99 SD ($59.99 HD) unlike Mayweather's incredible career final against Berto for $79.99 HD. Canelo-Cotto will be the most anticipated PPV since Pac-Mayweather minus the $100 price tag.

Nearly every PBC card involves controversy now, it's a joke.

Why do you think that is?? And be honest. Don't speak in code like the rest of the closet.....

And I always thought HBO was the highest level in boxing but showtime is giving them a run for there money..

so in the now PBC is god of boxing..
where is the quality? i can't find it!

wilder-povetkin isn't scheduled and looks like it won't happen soon. quillin-jacobs and thurman-porter are on showtime not on pbc if those fights are what you are referring to. pbc has garbage like edwin rodriguez-michael seal and devon alexander-martinez but it has a lot of it so that's a good thing. the whole point of the pbc was to bring free boxing to the masses right? well showtime isn't free so fail.

Because he's a Floyd fan thus making him a PBC/Haymon fanboy.

Showtime was giving them a run for their money, but they've fallen hard recently.
