    In this context, apparently.

I'm not sure what there is to argue about.

HBO is quite literally putting on the biggest fights right now.

You "Real Fans" don't get to decide what others want.

But I would like that, but isn't gonna happen.

So back to the topic, HBO is doing things right now.

I hope you real fans can handle that.

HBO has been putting up QUALITY.

        FOTY candidates.

Last weekend had some great matchups, if pbc and Showtime have fallen behind.

PBC is the new FNF, only difference is that PBC is where accomplished fighters pad their records instead of contenders.

kovalev is off for the year
crawford is fighting lamont peterson leftovers
bradleyrios is a decent fight but wat has rios done except beat a drunk??

lomo is fightin god knows who
and walters is in the same boat...

canelo cotto is meant to be the saving grace but lets be honest...thruman poreter is the better fight that pbc is giving in december...bc they are both prime and they both have better "current wins" in convincing fashion

HBO charges $60 for PPV mismatches like Golovkin-Lemieux. How does 200K PPV buys grow boxing?

115M Americans watch the Super Bowl for free and Golovkin-Lemieux costs $60? Who is boxing trying to fool? Only an idiot wastes their money on HBO PPV mismatches.

              hbo ...

shameless self-promotion from a wannabe fan Kellerman
Kellerman looks like ET asking silly questions and having no real experience at all ... hopefully the massive kanker sore constantly on his lip will sideline him
Merchant is ... well ... thankfully retired ... just a crabby old man with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome)
that idiot lampley loves to hear himself talk without having a clue
it was hilarious to listen to Emmanuel stewart correct him and Kellerman during fight commentaries when they demonstrated time after time they are woefully out of their debt misleading subscribers shamefully
Espinoza at showtime is so much better and actually has a love of the sport and interest in the athletes and intelligence - he makes authorized biographies like kobe's muse but easier to put up with
cotto canelo is a relevant fight canelo - has EVERYTHING to lose
boxing is in a valley post mayweather being active for 6 fights - hopefully he can reinvent promoting fights and make me interested in the dreck these networks normally serve up

And yea this is a thing cuz there is no NFL of boxing so among channels &/or promoters or any other power broker in the sport right now HBO represents the pinnacle of boxing & the highest quality of boxing on a regular basis.

PBC has the potential in the next 5 or so years of competing with HBO. Showtime seemed to fail greatly at any attempt at surpassing HBO during their Mayweather run. All the other TV channels aren't even worth mentioning. TR has many **** shows & their roster seems to be getting more & more subpar. GBP had the Haymon exodus that greatly hurt their roster & now just has a handful of notable fighters. But for right now & probably the last several decades HBO has held the title & continues to hold it.
Showtime was smashing HBO for the two years prior to the advent of pbc. But for al Haymon directing all of his clients away from showtime to the lame world of commercial tv showtime would be dominating right now. Showtime has ability to put in great fights. They just got conned by Haymon. So now HBO is back on top. Historically HBO was the better of the two though. Overall. Lest not forget the showtime had Tyson and Trinidad for many years.
