If he beats broner that says a lot more about broner than it does about him. he is not ranked by any organization and they rank anyone and yet Ashley isn't on any list. He has done nothing to deserve it and beating nobody.

Imo this is a solid fight for Broner, developmentally this is where he belongs. Looks like they finally got some brains on Team Broner. These are the kind of fights one needs to get ready for thr better fighters. They brought Broner up too fast and he got too much exposurr too soon. This is where Broner shouldve been in 2013, not in with Maidana...then again, we(fans) kinda needed that lol

Nice story, it's cool to hear that Floyd helps other fighters out. Not that I want to see Theopane vs Broner but I wouldn't be shocked if he gave AB a run for his money. Theopane has had competitive fights with Danny Garcia, Delvin Rodriguez, and Pablo Cano.

i actually dont understand why people are so against a broner theophane fight myself. i mean everyone wants to talk about how broner is a B fighter but when he makes b fighter type fights people cry foul. not only that but he has shown a willingness to fight anybody and we all know his ego is to big not to take another big fight. but the reality is hes a 140 pound fighter and he should never of even went to 147. I think coming off the maidana and porter losses theophane is a great fight for broner he needs a few fights like this to gain confidence. It seems he understands this is it one more fight and thats it. I jus think people need to give it a rest and i personally think broner vs theophane makes sense with keeping in mind that the winner will fight better opposition. It looks like the WBA is positioning provo to fight for the belt at some point in the near future as long as he wins some fights
