Just like we can't force GGG to fight Ward or Lara... they need to stop, nobody is ducking this dude.

GGG didn't duck Lara.

Lara doesn't get to yap his way into another if fight, especially after losing the one he talked his way into the first time.

GGG has bigger fights than either Ward or Lara. Neither are in his path to MW domination.

And frankly, Ward isn't even serious about fighting anyone good.

Can you force GGG to fight Ward doe?

You can't force Ward to fight a top five fighter in the next two years. Or is his entire thing chasing a MW.

Jacobs-Quillin: WBA World(i treat it as an interim title)

Winners of those remaining fights for undisputed mw titles & lineage.

JacobsQuillin(i treat it as an eliminator)..its difficult to see either competing against any of the names mentioned. This upcoming fight is the best as itll get for either let alone fightn for undisputed status. Just how i see it.

Here are the facts.....

* Team GGG use that " A-side " methodology when they are negotiating
* Cotto/Canelo WILL be the " A-side " during that negotiation
* Both Cotto/Canelo will demand a catchweight
* Golovkin recently stated that he can make 154 and be healthy

Considering those facts, it seems impossible for that fight to fall through..... oh, unless Team Golovkin refuse to give the Cotto/Canelo winner a catchweight, instead preferring to walk away from that massive payday to fight a lesser opponent for a vacant strap.

Why make excuses at this point, when you dont even know who the winner will be?

They selected Willie Monroe Jnr over Erislandy Lara, citing that Monroe was a bigger draw. You can call that whatever you like.

This is what I've been saying. Cotto or Canelo won't fight 3G after their fight, mark my word. That's why we have plenty of time to discuss the GGG vs Ward fight just right after the Lemieux fight. Let's get it done and push both of them to make the fight happen. Fight has to happen in 2015.

The K2 guy is right -- as a promoter he should have figured out by now he can't MAKE anyone do anything.

What he can do is ENTICE them to fight his guy.

Cotto is guaranteed $10M to fight Canelo with a $30M upside (including a percentage of the PPV revenue).

So since GGG is now supposed to be a budding PPV star, surely they can top that -- offer the winner a guaranteed $15M with an upside of $40M. Can't see how either could turn that down.

But they'll throw mini-money at them instead and GGG will make some chickenfeed fighting Jorge Sebastian Nobody. HBO will gladly shell out a max $2M for them to split.

OK, so Team Golovkin have CHOSEN to consider that catchweight unreasonable..... 1) despite Cotto weighing 153 2) despite the huge payday 3) despite Cotto being the first notable win 4) despite the fact that they demanded a catchweight from Ward.

Right, so Golovkin is clearly not this avoided killer who will fight anyone, he is OBVIOUSLY subject to the exact same risk/reward decisions as every other fighter.
