So Ward sends an offer after GGGs fight is announced and the offer is for 50/50 and a year from now lol. And it's to a guy two divisions below him. But GGG is the coward lol? Get out of here with that nonsense. The same people that say GGG is ducking are the same people that called GGG a bully for wanting Floyd at 154, which is not a catch weight and a weight Floyd was the lineal champ at. A light heavy weight wants to fight a guy that can make super welter, he's desperate! GGG is the only reason people talk about Ward. What else would there be to talk about? He doesn't fight anyone of note. Ward has fought two bums in 3 years, and will fight another on an undercard. GGG and Krusher both stop this guy. He clearly doesn't want it. Why else would you send an offer after the guy has a fight and you know you are moving to light heavy? I smell BS.

I still don't get the delight GGG's fanboys seem to have about this upcoming fight being on PPV. If y'all are anything like me, the only reason I subscribe to HBO and SHO is for boxing. And it pisses me off every time I'm double charged to watch a fight on TV. Regardless of who's fighting. And that's exactly what PPV is. Its double charging us in order to satisfy the greedy demands of these fighters. Some of y'all really need to wake the f.uck up.

Check your dates. Look for the original comment made to Rafael and you will see that all this other crap happened well after that comment was made. As I said, it took on a life of it's own once the media and the Wardtards jumped all over it. Very similar to what happened when GGG answered a question as to whether he would like to fight Mayweather. The next day all the headlines were screaming... "GOLOVKIN CALLS OUT MAYWEATHER" when he did nothing of the sort, he simply answered a question.

This PPV is really just a measuring stick to see where GGG stands as a draw.. IF it sells well (as it's expected to) then the other MW's can't use that as an excuse anymore that GGG "doesn't sell". "not worth the risk", etc. etc. This means the "era of GGG fighting bums" should be ending soon, which both sides should be happy about.. unless you're just a straight-up hater.

BTW, PPV is not the ONLY way to watch this fight (obviously) but I will support the guy because I like his style and attitude.. need more fighters like him, KOVA, & LOMA in the sport IMO.

Im with this. Good post. Its so obvious what theyre(networks) doing, they expect us to cough up just to watch a decent matchup, while they dont make thr right fight right time...fk that. Low #s are good for the fans.
