      Glad both Floyd and Pacquiao are retired. They should have gave us the fight five years ago when it actually mattered the most. And yes, both guys are to blame (if Floyd really really wanted the fight he wouldn't have demanded extra testing and likewise if Pac really really wanted the fight he would have accepted right off the bat). Couple of con artists, truly.

      Good riddance.

        I don't care how much money THEY made. I don't feel boxing fans should either.

        Wouldnt say it was meaningless though, it was still the number 1 and number 2 welterweight in the world, which is always a legit match.
        I never felt Pac was the #2 guy in boxing before their fight. He was KTFO by JMM then beat Algieri & Bradley and he was back to #2? I felt it was artificial. Like the super fight finally was happening so people just inserted Pac back at #2, even though months prior most places had him low on the top 10 list or off of it completely. It was obvious he wasn't the same guy anymore. And Floyd too wasn't the same guy. I don't think he struggles with the likes of Maidana if not for age starting to creep up on him. Granted, he never had any wars in his career like Pacquiao did but still, he was old, they both were.

        ::edit::
        my bad, I just noticed you said #2 welterweight. For some reason I read p4p #2.

          Legendary career. Pacquiao is an icon. He will be missed, but no one can blame him for taking an exit. He has given us fans many memories.

              Would hate to see him hang up the gloves on a loss and would like to see him go out on a win, but he's had a great career

                You've had an ATG HOF career and deserve to go out on your own terms. You've entertained us all for decades. God Bless you Manny and thank you for the memories.

                    Hell i think Trump is a moron but he is a leader but i dont think he should be President
                    As I said, they will remain a 3rd world country with or without Pacquiao so why add the following

                    "If Pac becomes president its one of the reasons it will remain a 3rd world country"

                    That Is complete bull**** and you are making comments that are complete nonsense based on your dislike for Pacquiao and that's ok. Just own up to It.

                    They have been a 3rd world country long before Pacquiao became part of the equation.

                      A true legend.

                      Makes me sad because I think there are a few good match-ups left for Manny but if he's ready to retire he's earned the right to say when.

                      Make the last fight a great one Pac!
