Khan might as well also retire then since all he's interested is in facing Mayweather or Pacquiao.

Brace yourselves for 10 years of Amir Khan: "Mayweather and Pacquiao ducked me"

Politics is a dirty game. But he has the popularity to win, and be in a position to help his country. Whether he does or not is another story.

I think it would be the right move. He's been a pro for almost 20 years. He's one of the truly great fighters ever. He just made his biggest payday. I don't want him to end up as Bob Arum's washed up name to feed to other fighters.

And frankly, the sport needs him gone at this point. Him and Mayweather both. They only hurt the sport at this point. Mayweather is retired, Pac should be next so that the sport can move on and hopefully we can begin seeing the fights that their presence is preventing.

Boxing will move on, like it always has. All these fighters who are avoiding the fights we want to see in hopes of landing Mayweather or Pacquiao will no longer have any reason to avoid each other. We'll get great fights, some fighters will rise above others, and new stars will be born.

Mayweather and Pacquiao retiring is exactly what boxing needs right now.

                  They played us well.
they did. Unfortunately a three card montey game takes two, a scammer and one willing to be scammed.

More like with the money he made in the fight with Floyd he finally paid his taxes & now has Ca$h left over to retire.. If he doesn't win the presidency of the Philippines, watch him become one of these big time money making preachers. Both positions are for people who are full of S H I T but a good way to make & maintain easy money..

He really is an idiot, I don't know what the current Filipino political landscape is like but someone as dumb as him surely won't be any use.
