yeah I don't get it, it's thread after thread about all the sympathy he's getting but while nobody actually seems to be doing much sympathizing

perhaps they assume if they act like it's there we will just believe them

he was worried about his vision and stayed down..... what is there to say

Fighters know when they have had enough. He did and decided to quit for his health. I think that's acceptable.

I'm not a fan of his (neutral) but he's a good fighter and a warrior. I don't want to see any fighter suffering any permanent damage just to please some fans or his country. You can't demand that of fighters.

The fight was pretty good too!

Exactly this. The same posters are making 4 or 5 threads about Lucas quitting, while complaining that there is not enough talk of Lucas quitting. I'm not sure what much more they want.

It's all circumstantial, not all quitting is the same. Postol was the better man entirely and that's all that matters to me at this point. But like I brought up previously, Angulo took a lot of crap and it's unfair.

Lucas just comes off as a like able guy. I'm not even a fan (nor a "hatuh"), but its just how it is.

The answer is no. Anyone who disagrees is lying to themselves.

                All hell would break loose.

I guess fan favorites generally receive more sympathy.
Do you think it's a coincidence that all the sympathy mongers are some of the biggest f*ggots on this forum?
