    Fres Oquendo (37-8, 24KOs) has, according to the Sparkassen Arena in Kiel (Germany), pulled out of the fight against WBA "regular" heavyweight champ Ruslan Chagaev (34-2-1, 21KOs) due to illness.

    The fight was set for October 17 at the Sparkassen Arena in Kiel (Germany). All tickets are refunded.

      The WBA is a joke & this is not a title match. After all the BS after the first fight Oquendo pulls out. He should just retire already. Chagaev vs Browne is a mismatch in my opinion even at Chagaev's age. He will take him out in a few rounds...

          It's kind of surprising (well, maybe not) that Oquendo pulled out of this fight after making a big stink after their first fight and essentially forcing this rematch.

            I hope Lucas Browne is given his shot now.

            But they'll probably wait a few months for Oquendo, even though he hasn't earned his high ranking with the WBA because he hasn't had a good win in years.

            The WBA is the very worst of all the sanctioning organizations.
