But Jennings is a very good boxer, so Wilder-Jennings is an interesting matchup.

I doubt Wilder will fight a difficult opponent like Jennings, it's probably just a rumor and the pampered Deontay will end up facing another journeyman. But you never know, after all he has to step up sooner or later.
povetkin has a November fight right?

I attended the Molina fight. Refused to attend the last one. But, I'd attend if he fought Jennings. As long as he's fighting credible comp, no harm in letting the Provekin fight marinate. Anticipation for it seems to ve picking up.

Povetkin wanted to fight Wilder in September, but took the Nov 4 fight because Wilder chose to fight Duhaupas first.

Povetkin wants to fight Wilder ASAP. He's willing to fight Wilder in January (unless he's injured on Nov 4) but Wilder wants to avoid him as long as possible.

But you already knew that, didn't you?

September has passed, lets stay current. so yes, he does have a November fight.

I am sure he does want to fight Wilder now. given that Wilder took another fight and Povetkin took a fight because wilder did, I doubt Povetkin can fight Wilder January 9th.

No. Povetkin isn't a pampered, privileged boxer like Wilder, he's a ring warrior. If Wilder wants to fight him in January, Povetkin is more than willing.

Povetkin chose Wach because he has Wilder's proportions (tall with long arms) so to better prepare himself for a fight with Wilder.

If Povektin can be ready by January there's no reason why Wilder should be allowed to make another voluntary defense. Povetkin's team need to appeal to the WBC and make them do the right thing and force the mandatory challenger his shot.

This is similar to when Chavez Jr. was the WBC MW champion and was avoiding Sergio Martinez. It took Lou Dibella imploring Suliman to force the fight to be made.

How do you know, he hasn't fought in November yet. he might get hurt.

No, Povetkin isn't treated like Deontay. He shouldn't be. Deontay could be a star. Povetkin he doesn't have star quality IMO.

Smart move by Povetkin. I think he beats Deontay if they fight now. Unless deontay shows me more in January or wach exposes a weakness in Povetkin, my opinion will not change.

How exactly does he not have "star quality"?

Povetkin actually is a star in Russia, he's a household name there.
