Right Postol should be #1 and Matthysse should fall to #2. Unless somebody establishes themself as the clear cut #2 the only way a lineage is established is through a rematch.

Crawford won't skip Matthysse with Dulorme and Jean.

khan and gracia fought for a vacant lineage. so you were wrong

keep calling me names. i'll keep pointing out why you are uniformed and wrong.
Pretty sure the universal lineage was established with the Garcia/Matthysse fight

Khan/Garcia was for the ring title however Peterson was ranked higher than Garcia at the time. We all know how different the RIng title is to the lineal one

Might be worth checking your facts before giving 'lessons'

Yeah that was ****** of me to post actually.

Postol I'd probably have at #1 though. All four champions won it fighting for a vacant title.

The only guys that matter at 140 are:

Postol, Crawford, Broner, Cuenca, Herrera, and Peterson. Below them are prospects.. interim champ Benavidez and Amir Imam.

        Ruslan Provodnikov is just, there.

I would personally consider the winner of a Postol -Crawford fight as the best 140 pounder and I would pick Postol to win.

Yup, Garcia vs Lucas established the 140lb lineage. With that said, we are nowhere near establishing another one. There is no clear cut #1 or #2 guy in the division. If u wanna say postol is number 1, sure. But only because who's left the division and not because of his accomplishments. In other words 140lbs is light on resumed fighters right now.

If you look past all the BS surrounding fights, it's been:

Garcia beat Khan for two + Lineal. Lucas beat Peterson for IBF. Danny beat Lucas for IBF.
Herrera beat Garcia for all 3 + Lineal. He hasn't legitimately been beat yet?

How is he not the champ..
