Ok. We've all done that. But some people on here don't seem to realise that purse bids only happen if a deal can't be made, which is why I mentioned it.

            I think they will.

But does Wilder have the courage to fight in Russia?

Also it makes sense for Wilder, because he'll get a buck load of money.

Does anyone know how big Povetkin is in Russia?
I'm not sure about that. Ryabinski has been saying they are open to fighting Wilder in the States. That makes me think they are hoping to get a bigger share of the purse in return for giving Deontay home advantage.

If it ends up happening in Russia, I will take that as an indication that Wilder's team don't believe he can win, and are looking to cash out for as much money as they can get.

Actually that was the only time they mentioned Wlad. Usually its more in line with PBC trying to pass off the Quillin-Jacobs fight as the real middleweight championship when in reality it isn't even for the real WBA strap.

Is Al Haymon willing to put up upwards $10million (if not more) for this fight? I doubt that very much. Wilder made $1,4 last time.

I'd certainly go to purse bids in Povetkin's situation. They'll win 100%.

I hope it goes to Russia tbh, I like not having to stay up to 4am lol.
In my part of the world I can watch the US televised fights nice and smoothly after I wake up.

                      It's perfect.
