The bad thing is that a lot of the talent is also going to waste. There aren't really any promoters in Eastern Europe/Central Asia that are going out prospect hunting unfortunately. Unless you're an Olympian, you will most likely not get a chance. But I am hopeful this will change with the emergence of promoters like K2, Fight Promotions and Ryabinsky.

I am happy Ramil Gadzhiev turned pro, I would have liked for him to get more amateur experience, but he missed his shot at going to the Olympics so instead of waiting five more years he decided to go pro. Which is the correct choice in my opinion, because there is no guarantee he will make the team for 2020. You just never know what could happen during that time.

So hopefully those promoters start signing some of the prospects/fighters that are not getting a shot at the Olympic team instead of seeing that talent go to waste. There are Youth Champions that are not getting an opportunity in the Senior team, in my opinion they should do what Ramil did and go pro.
Russia is especially producing Youth and Junior talent that will probably never get a shot at the Senior team.
Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan are also producing a lot of talent. Ukraine is struggling right now, but I keep hearing that the 2020 team and on should start getting better.

We especially need more fighters from 56-69kg to start turning pro, not a lot of them do.
Well I'm just rambling at this point, but the point is that more Eastern European/Central Asian fighters should start making the jump to professional boxing, especially if they are not getting a chance at the Olympic team. They should do what Kovalev did:No team shot, well might as well go pro instead of wasting my talent.
Maybe there is a reason they don't go pro that I don't know of.

    Ireland coming strong also.

As far as skill and domination comes to hand, the Eastern Europeans and Russian are definitely next to us if not past us already.
Well it's hard to say for sure. The "glamour divisions" (WW and HW) are becoming dominated by Americans and Brits (Brook, Thurman, Khan, Spence, Jr, Porter, Wilder, Jennings, Joshua, Fury). If anything the West is catching up the Eastern Euros very quickly. I think the EE "era" has peaked personally..

How could you say that when Lomachenko is still fresh, Beterbiev still fresh, Usyk still fresh, there are many more.

Joshua looks to be the future of Heavyweight, if he's not a chinless piece of crap like David Price.

White American boxers were never really spectacular, probably because a lot of true American-whites are inbred hicks. They just don't produce very macho men I guess

            White-American women though, different story

Yeah they are. Conlan just won World's. O'Reilly bronze medal and Joe Ward will compete in the finals tomorrow.
Their Youth look promising as well.

Cuba, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ireland, Ukraine, Uzbekistan are the leading nations currently in my opinion. (In no particular order)

So some people think this is just a phase? Well I can't wait to see what they say when proven wrong.
Also, people do know that the top Amateur boxers from 56 to 69 kg don't usually don't pro, right? I'm hopeful more of them start turning over, specifically at those weight classes.

I thought they were back in 2009 but so many East Euros have been exposed when the move west. Only Loma and Wlad have stayed strong.

Well those are what a Light Heavy, a Cruiser, a FW? Not typically divisions that get a lot of attention lavished on them. I mean EE have some good fighters, they just aren't "taking over"..
