Would you say he was exposed last night, against Cherry?
Was Pedraza exposed?

I just laugh at all the hipsters claiming he was the better PR prospect between him and Verdejo. I mean he's good but doesn't have that special quality. Maybe now they can stop trying to seem cool and look at what's in front of them.Comment

Verdejo's 10 times better than Pedraza. Still... Pedraza fought a tough opponent and came away with the win. I'm happy about that.

No, tough fights like this are good for up and coming fighters. Cherry's no slouch either. The last time he lost was against Bradley back in 2008.
I had Cherry edging this fight bty. Figured they would've gave the fight to the young champ if it was close.Comment

I don't think so, but I do think he got a huge reality check. He faced a veteran fighter who got stronger as the fight went on. Pedraza was probably thinking he had the fight in the bag after the first few rounds. Pedraza should look for a rematch to prove to the fans that it was just an off night.Comment

Agree on all counts.Comment

Cherry also hasn't fought anyone worth a damn in those seven years, so that's not saying much. Team Pedraza thought Cherry would be an easy win against a fighter who honestly hasn't shown anying special outside of his chin and will to win.
Disappointing really for a guy with obvious talent.Comment
