Shoot, they are gonna hold that belt hostage. It's time to sell Broner as the next Mayweather.......get the scrubs lined up.

You can't hold a belt hostage because the sanctioning bodies require mandatory defenses. The #1 contender has to get his shot eventually within a required timeframe. As long as fighters play by those rules I don't really begrudge them a soft touch here and there.

Also Mayweather rarely fought scrubs. Unless you consider guys like Canelo and Cotto to be scrubs?
