He moved up 2 divisions to face Malignaggi, not Maidana, and it 100% was the easiest route as Paulie was the weakest belt-holder. Broner struggled with Paulie more than Khan, Hatton, Porter, Garcia etc. did but it's still probably his best win which says a lot.

Took on Porter when he didn't have to...as if normally fights get made at gun point? And was trying to drain Porter at a catchweight because he wanted to avoid the easy route as well?

Broner was expected to beat Porter and Maidana. I do give Broner credit though because once they were able to beat him he did show a hunger to improve and be the best, the way he chased rematches with them rather than a paper vacant title against a guy who hadn't won a fight in 2 years was pure beast mode stuff. Oh wait...

Not really a surprised he's calling out Theopane, it'll be at least a year of facing guys like that before Broner dares to face a dangerous opponent again and when he does he'll lose again.

bro he went from 135 to 147 while not even being suited for 147 to face paulie right into maidana if u cant see those are risks fighters today are not willing to face even more so ones who have the world at their feet regardless then u are not being honest. there are guys at 140 who wont fight big punchers at 147 let alone 154 i mean give me a break seriously. i mean he takes risk literally no other fighter is willing to take moving up 2 weight classes and fighting a ****ing monster in maidana whether his first or second fight there dont really matter. i mean i get people hate broner but the guy has continues to take risks no other fighter takes and gets bashed for it and imo its ridiculous. can u imagine a 147 pounder someone who is being thrown every opurtunity not to moving strait up to 160 taking the "easy" champion then in very next fight fighting lemiuex or ggg when they are not even made for the 160 pound class? i mean seriously dude
