    Atleast on NSB.

It's crazy because Matthysse has a better resume but has zero world titles whereas Broner is a 4 weight champ.

    Bad luck or what.
a better resume how??beating mike dallas jr and no defense having provonkov??or perhaps going life and death with john molina?

I don't think he is a hype job. Or that everyone has been exposed when the lose. He's got a decent CV, he's a good fighter and out of his losses (i feel he was stiffed against Judah and Alexander), he lost to good fighters in Garcia and Postol.

Real 'hype jobs' are few and far between IMO. I don't feel anyone comes close to the Broner hype-train, or will do for a while.

He was bigged up as the guy to take over from Floyd, the soon to be P4P number 1.
They were threads made about him on here about him being the 'next fighter of the decade' and he was number 5 or 6 in Rings P4P list before he had even beat anyone of note.

Andre Ward, Pfp #1-2 on peoples list, hasn't done anything in 5 years.

And still somehow has a better resume than Golovkin in that 5 year span

I don't think he got exposed because he was never as good as many on NSB opined. He just has power. He isn't a good boxer, doesn't move, can't defend well.

Lucas is 37-4-1 with 34 KO's. If you can survive his power you have better than a 50/50 chance to beat him. That isn't going to cut it against top tier fighters.
