Yea it was dumb to move to ww. He wanted to be like Floyd too much with "weight doesn't matter" broner weighed 144 vs maidana..

Demarco was number 1 when broner beat him. And burns blatantly ducked broner when he was a top guy at 135

Youre being unfair. Demarco was a good win, he was the no.1 ranked lightweight and Broner beat him down. Broner was the best lightweight in the world, giving his WBC title some legitimacy.

His WBO 130lb title, and his WBA 147 titles were paper titles however. This 140 regular title he's fighting for isnt recognised by anyone.

But lets not pretend that his win over Demarco didnt mean anything. Its a solid win

Broner's talent is undeniable and I was actually rooting for him against Porter but his performance was so pathetic I'm done with him now. 135 was his reign and above that he will lose to the elite. Unless hen he suddenly grows up, shows of less and uses his skills.

At the risk of actually defending Broner, he's in the right here. That was a dumb statement.

Both the interviewer and Broner are wrong.

Winning a world title has meaning when you actually accomplish something to get it. I don't see how Broner could be proud of that 130lb title that was just handed to him.

Nor can I see how he can be proud of getting a title shot based on doing absolutely nothing.

In the end it's what's you do in your career that counts not how many trinkets you collect.

He has a genuine point. This guy puts his life on the line when he gets in the ring and then say what he's done is nothing? On the other hand I don't think that's what the interviewer was actually saying but it is the way Broner took it.

mentally fragile, cant accept defeat. the interviewer was actually giving him a lot of praise saying compared to what he can do 4 titles is nothing-hence just the start. broner just took it the wrong way cause he's so weak minded now, and even if it was meant as an insult, how can he be offended by people who talk sh@t???
