i dunno what winky's reach was.
but winky was only 5'9 or so and seemed to jab everyone to death.

sonny liston was only 6 ft.
but his reach was supposedly 84 in.
that's 3 in. more than 6'6 wlad and 5 in. more than 6'7 vitali.

Now I'm not sure what the average reach for a man who is 5'8'' should be but Mayweather has 72" and he always looks like he has long arms. It helps him fire that right hand in and keep his jab poking out. At 5'8'', Mayweather fights like someone who is much taller.

I was a big fan of Joseph Kiwanuka (Uganda native who came to the US) back in the day. He didn't really get any higher than fringe contender status. Although looking up his stats now looks like he was 6'2 (so not short really) & boxrec claims he only had a 82in reach (as a SMW), but watching him back in the day he seemed to have freakishly long arms to me.

but that could be just perception because of his style/skill always seeming to land while out of the opp reach.
