i mean its whatever anymore its the norm and it just depends if ur a fan favorite or not if u get called out for catch weights but in this case i dont think its an advantage for anybody its like the cotto canelo catch weight its not really an advantage for anybody so whats the problem. If your team keep saying your not a ww and guy you fighting has lineal belt at jr ww then take your a$$ down to 140 instead of doing a pointless cw beat machine and setup a unification fight with Crawford

Completely different situations. Matthysse usually hydrates higher than Pacquiao so there's no disadvantage for either fighter. Nobody is asking a lineal champ to defend his title at a different weight because there's no title nonsense involved. This fight is about about two great exciting fighters going at it. Nothing more.

yeah sometimes the drain thing can be an issue for some guys. But fo these two i dont think a few lbs are gonna hurt anyone either way. I think they just dont want a blown up fighter in the ring.
