They were supposed to be making an announcement a few weeks ago werent they?

Isnt the Hyde contract up now?

Nothing more frustrating than seeing one of your favourite fighters primes slip away. Ward fans know whats up.

That's what he gets for parting ways with the only competent member of his team Gary Hyde and staying loyal to the fake promoter Caribe Promotions.

The thing is you usually build up your career and get a title shot around your 25th fight, then go onto unify by 30 and then slowly unwind your career beating up upcoming foes.

Rigo won a title in his 7th fight, became the lineal champ by his 11th, the other title holders don't want to fight him, what the **** is there left for him to accomplish?

I rate him as the best fighter on the planet, even if you take Floyd into consideration but the problem is he's just too good. He's already fighting 2 weight classes above his natural weight and the only way he'll lose is by some ******ed size difference.

As far as Rigo's interviews, when he speaks, he's the most honest, straightforward, and humble speaker. He just speaks the truth. All he wanted was to unify all the belts. I think Rigo is just tired of all the bull****. Dude has won 2 Gold Medals. Basically isn't fighting. Defected from Cuba, rarely sees his family. Lomachenko, 1 Gold medalist, calls him out. We see disagreements in weight for what Loma gets to rehydrate to.

Then, Rigo says publicly "f@ck it let's fight for free" because he's talking to a kid. Leo Santa, Frampton, Quigg....all their manager goons didn't want Rigo. The same ****** f@ucking Top Rank boxing culture excuse that he doesn't bring fans. These goons literally say this shıt. I'm tired of these excuses. You guys know what time it is. Rigo is in another class of himself. Other investors don't want to see their boys get schooled and lose a belt. Plain an simple.

sad state of a lot of modern Cuban pros, they think they should be gifted big fights and millions of dollars, rather than going out there and earning them. The two biggest wastes of talent in last 5 years have got to be Rigo and Gamboa.

'Gifted' big fights by beating a bunch of contenders, winning a title, defending it, taking on the lineal champion and beating him?

He made bad choices in choosing his team, and was ****ed over by the company who was supposed to promote him, but lets not act like he didnt pay his dues even with his limited number of fights. If the rest of the division werent so scared of losing to him then he most likely would have fought them all by now.

The guy has 15 fights, in his 12th he fought the biggest name in the lower divisions, won impressively then priced himself out of other fights, by his own admission wanting more money. That's cost him good names and more fights per year.

Donaire is a guy who worked himself into the position he is now and is STILL taking on better challenges than Rigo. The guy secured his legacy, Rigo is wasting his.

Gamboa was on his way to becoming a top level star and walked away from Rios and TR and is now stuck in hell, just like Rigo and Ward was for 18 months.

Lara talked himself into a Canelo fight, lost and hasn't done anything much since except *****. Whereas Canelo has amassed a career of Floyd, Trout, Lara and now Cotto.

Box and if you're good enough, eventually you will get your dues, ask that guy in your avatar.

The only top 122lb fighter who can legitimately claim that they can't fight Rigo due to money is Frampton imo.

Leo Santa Cruz asked for $3million to fight him We all know who is pricing themselves out there.

Quigg should be trying everything he can to force the WBA to make the Rigo fight, isnt he the mandatory? There would surely be a purse bid (which would negate any purse demands Rigo has) and if Rigo ducks the fight then he gets stripped. Obviously its much easier for him to just ignore the fact GR even exists because he knows GR would take the fight in a heartbeat.

BTW Gamboa went up to LW and took on the best LW on the planet not too long ago, hard to accuse him of not getting big fights.
