Joshua seems to be somewhat educated while Wilder is just still totally immature, on an intellectual level with Broner.

Also i feel Joshua will be here to stay and become the undisputed champion once Wlad retires, Wilder will feed off a couple PBC bums and then be forgotten once Povetkins or Wlad knocks him out.

I think Joshua has a much better support system around him and much cooler heads to take care of his career. If he was to lose a fight, I do not see it having a major effect on his career. Sure it would be a setback, but he would recover and work through it and regain his form and position in the sport.

When Wilder loses, I can see Haymon tossing him to the side and moving on to someone else. I do not believe he has a great team or support system behind him and when he does lose, I believe that will be the end of Wilder as a major force in the sport.

It's hard to say who will have the better career.

Joshua has done nothing yet. He could go on to be great, or he could fall short when he steps up. He has a lot of the Eddie Hearn/Sky Sports hype around him now.

We've seen guys like him in the past who looked like the real deal until they stepped up and found out it's a sport of unforgiving levels, so there's no saying that his fate won't be the same. Cast your mind back just a few years, Mr David Price was wrecking everything in his path and had that exact same hype, and then he ran in to Tony Thompson. It's easy to say Price was never that good and hindsight is 20-20, but i would bet my house that you could go back through this forum and find almost identical threads about Price as you do about Joshua now.

I'm not saying Joshua will end up like Price, but nobody really knows yet either.

Joshua is already better. I don't give a **** about "resume" because with the fractured state of boxing, there are many very good fighters without resumes because nobody will fight them. But if we do take resume into account, wilder's sucks anyway.

I broadly agree with how Joshua is being brought along. He does look a bit stiff still, and could do with 'getting some rounds in', but, already, he's throwing better and more coordinated jabs and combinations than Wilder.

Wilder has feasted on cans - that's not necessarily his fault, mind...

I will say Wilder because to me he gets better in the gym and constantly looks to be improving. That willingness to constantly work hard and keep improving ones game is one of the major aspects of boxing. Wilder was sorry when he started out but he looks the part of an honest to goodness pro fighter right now and still looks to be getting better.

Joshua may have more natural boxing talent, although his bodybuilder physique is not what I would call a natural boxing body. It remains to be seen if he has the temperament to constantly get better and put in the work in the gym that allows that constant improvement. He looks much better than Wilder off the rip no doubt but does he have the same willingness to get better?

I will say Joshua on the condition he doesn't believe the hype in himself. People telling him how good he is, he may think he don't have to improve and learn. But if the hunger to get better and to learn is there, he will go onto be better Wilder.

If Joshua fulfils his potential he may challenge Lennox Lewis for the greatest brit ever. But again, don't want to kiss Joshuas butt too much yet. He has yet to achieve anything.

I agree AJ has good support staff and is pretty grounded within his family but let's not forget the people Wilder is working with. Breland was an exceptional and I mean, 100-1 exceptional amateur. The guy is an amateur legend in the states. Not to mention a titlist in the pro ranks too.

Then you have Deas who I think is the main guy in the corner and he is one of the most renowned coaches in America with years of experience. I need to mention Anber or Amber or however you spell it, the guy has produced Olympians and is an exceptional cut man. Wilder's team is one of the best in pro boxing.

In terms of promoters/managers, yeah Haymon is slimy af but he is not going to discard Wilder after just one loss. They will milk him dry with a rematch to whoever beats him, a whole host of bums, work his way back to a title shot or two and then end his career touring europe or something and fighting the top contenders around. Wilder is set to fight for a long time and if he keeps his head on right and doesn't allow too many people to leech off of him, he can make a lot of money.

If you judged it on fighters fought I'd say wilder.

Quality and skill I'd say joshua

It won't be long before joshua is at world level
