The last guy who talked this much about GGG was Stevens

and he is forever gonna be known for that look he gave when he first felt GGG's power. I don't think he was ever the same after that.

I don't think that GGG will be reckless and give Lemieux free shots. Canadian is a big puncher. Big to a degree that maybe no chin can take his bomb in this weight. So I'm afraid that after the fight GGG detractors will not be satisfied, because it is possible that Lemieux will not land anything clean. Regarding Lem's mindset - what is he supposed to say? This is a right mindset for a fight. I suspect the fight will be in close quarters and GGG will showcase what kind of inside fighter he is. At least in the beginning, until he softens up Lemieux.

I don't believe he is, but it's likely he'll be made aware quite quickly.

Fighter that don't want to fight Golovkin don't because he's an unknown quantity. He looks good, but nobody really knows how good he really is, and they don't want to be one of the first to find out how good he is. Lemieux on the other hand is a guy with known limitations. Everybody will want to fight the guy who beat Golovkin so they can cash out on the cred Lemieux earned before anyone else does. Lemieux would have done the risky part, so other fighters will try to take advantage. It's a classic move. Wait and beat the guy who upsets the guy everyone fears, instead of beating the guy who everyone fears.

I don't think thats how it works Mr. Lemieux. Thats a title bestowed upon scary mfers not a lineal claim. I don't recall James Douglas becoming the most feared boxer when he beat Mike Tyson or Muhammad Ali becoming the same on two occasions after beating Sonny Liston & George Foreman.

Oh come on now, so you're saying they're scared? Fear what they don't know... scared to take a chance against an unknown skill level fighter?
GTFO, they know exactly and they do it because they dont' want to get stomped.

Lemieux took this purely for money... no other fight out there was going to get him more money other than Canelo and Canelo is getting way more against Cotto. Also GB was losign money on Lemeiux with the million dollar minimum and that 125 split purse bid with N'Dam.

After the fight could only get on FS freaking 2, nobody else wanted to televise his fight and that leave GBP in a hole.

This fight is happening because of money, but let's do some deep analysis here

Lemieux would have to be a new and improved fighter to win this, I hope he doesn't think he can go in there being the same limited fighter he's always been.

I hope you bring that confidence in the fight when you taste Golovkin's accurate power punch
