Comments Thread For: Lemieux: After I Beat GGG, I'll Be The Most Feared

David Lemieux is well aware of what he’s up against heading into his middleweight title unification bout versus Gennady Golovkin. The two collide October 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, with HBO Pay-Per-View to air live.

The card comes at a premium ($49.95 SRP, plus $10 for HD viewing), despite Lemieux entering as a massive underdog. The knockout artist from Montreal can see the writing on the wall, but firmly believe his career-long experiences have sufficiently prepared him for the biggest fight to date.

Lemieux sure does have confidence, I'll give him that. Still think GGG gets him outta there inside of 8 rounds

Lemieux should just chew triple bubble gum until the fight..even when sleeping.

Someone should tell Lemieux to calm down a bit and save it for the ring. He is going to look extremely foolish after GGG KTFOs him with all the crap he's been putting out there. The guy won't be able to show his face in public he will be so ashamed.

Nah let him bark. If he loses oh well, he's the heavy underdog. If he wins then he just beat the 160 boogieman.

.... Golovkin vs Lemieux, based on the general betting odds, is a 15:1 fight. Let's keep things in perspective here.

Say what you want about Floyd, but at least he, for the $75HD that was charged, delivered a solid 5-fight show, with two other top fights on his undercard.

K2 is charging $60HD for a 20:1 Golovkin fight, a 14:1 Roman Gonzalez fight, and a nonsense fight fight for Luis Ortiz. Have fun with that

Confidence is a good thing, overconfidence gets you stopped.
